EPR registration
No EPR number, no listing in Germany or France.
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) makes the seller pay towards recycling the packaging, electricals and batteries they put on the market. Amazon blocks sales on Amazon.de and Amazon.fr until your registration numbers are on file. We get you registered and keep the numbers valid.
Packaging
Germany: LUCID registration with the Central Agency Packaging Register, plus a licence with a packaging compliance scheme. France: your packaging unique ID (UIN).
Electricals (WEEE)
Germany: stiftung ear registration (WEEE number). France: registration with an approved scheme. We arrange an authorised representative where a country requires one.
Batteries
Germany: battery registration with stiftung ear. France: battery UIN. Covers batteries sold on their own and built into products.
Responsible Person
We take the responsibility. You keep selling.
If your business is not established in the EU, the General Product Safety Regulation says an EU-based economic operator must be responsible for your products. In Great Britain, many product types need a UK-based one. We fill that role and put our name to it.
